COMMUNITY CHARITY FUND - CSR
Gyant International vision, is to set up our “Divine Community Charity” (Not For Profit). Focused on helping children, families and communities. We are dedicated to promote 4 key areas, with our initial focus on housing, closely followed by education, access to medical services and healthy food requirements.
Since we are in the very early stage of the charity we will need to start fresh, with our passion, hope, trust, skills and experience, and support from our staff, clients and the community to get this charity rolling.
We have several projects we want to start promoting and working on for our Charity, so we are looking for charitable donations to get started on our projects to help the children and their families. Our initial focus is on the safety and well-being of the children in the form of safe and secure housing with their families, followed by education and suitable training and employment and the need for healthy food for the children and families.
We are focusing our work in the Philippines as this will be our headquarters for our charity operations, then expand to other regions as resources allow. We have many skilled people in our support team as well as supporters globally wanting to take part in our projects at all levels.
Our desire is to raise funds to get this charity up and running as soon as possible, which initially requires some funding to legally set up the charitable corporation in country. Our Charity is a completely Not For Profit and we will ensure that all proceeds go to the people in need.
HOUSING
Our goal is to work with local authorities and industry to develop low cost housing communities near major employment zones, so that we can provide safe and secure housing for families, close to possible employment opportunities.
We have the construction skills to design, source, build and teach in low cost construction developments from many years in the industry. We will be building modern, efficient, secure and safe housing in a community environment that includes a school class rooms, community building and several buildings for small community shops and basic medical care. An essential element of the housing will be the use of locally available resources in the building materials, that will be typhoon resistant and provide a safe environment for the families. We have experience in many forms of low cost house building methods using local resources, that we have already used in several countries.
As part of the building process, we will be training the home owners in the building process, so that they can assist in building their own house and also assist in building their neighbors house, so that it becomes a community project, each one – teach one, so as each home is built, we are teaching others the skills to help each other build for others in the community. We want the communities we build to be a safe, healthy and productive environments for families to grow and prosper.
EDUCATION
Secondary to the housing project, is to provide access to education for the children, who’s families can not afford access to current education services. We want to provide access to quality education via several avenues. Funding for children to access local schools, work stations where children can access on-line education and training, volunteer community teachers to teach classes in the community facilities, scholarships to deserving students to go to higher education courses and courses for adults wanting to learn employability skills, trade or professional skills such as construction, engineering, hospitality, business finance etc.
Medical Service and Healthy Food
Following on from housing and education, will be looking to provide access to medical services in the form of on site community medical center with access to free basic services.
Part of our community projects we will be setting aside areas for growing essential food for their community, grown by the residents for the residents. We can teach the residents to grow some basic supplies for their own requirements.
